1) Copy skills & keywords from the job description.
Everyone involved in HR uses ATS (Applicant Tracking System) which is pre-checking resumes before hiring manager sees it. That’s why we strongly recommend you to include keywords from the job description (of course if they really match your skills) to pass the robot test.
2) Write a cover letter
There are a lot of arguments if we still need a cover letter living in 21th century, but our team thinks that writing a targeted one will give you a big plus.
3) Let employers find you
Of course, some people are lucky to get a job just by writing on facebook “Ok, I’m looking for a job, PM me”, but in general it doesn’t work. To increase you chances get hired complete your LinkedIn profile, upload your resume on the job sites and stay active in your industry meetups & online groups.
